October 16th - Class 1
Exactly one year from the start of last year's classes, we started the third year of Biblical Greek with a great class. We jumped right into a big and important piece of grammar, the infinitive verb. We learned to identify it and how to use it with modals to be able to say/read things like: ought to write, must liberate and many more. As the infinitive is multi-faceted, we covered some of the most common uses and those ending in /-ειν/ and /-σαι/. Next time, we will continue with that.
The next Biblical Greek session will be on January 15th at 7:30.
Polycarp the Holy Martyr & Bishop of Smyrna; Proterios, Archbishop of Alexandria; Gorgonia the Righteous, sister of Gregory the Theologian; Damian the New Martyr of Mount Athos; Boswell, Abbot of Melrose Abbey
